Header pipe question
Just pulled the complete exhaust off, what a pain it was. Question. Can I mount the headers back on the heads and tighten them up with new head gaskets, and then add the muffler section? Or do you have to install all 3 pieces in one package?
When I see how the header end tips angle up I worry I wont be able to add the original mufflers after I tighten the headers first.
Basically, what's the order to install a complete exhaust?

Thanks.

whatever you do dont intall the headers and tighten up first, you might try getting the right side header just in place but not tightened, its more like starting one side mufflers then getting the other started and working all of it together a little at a time, really not any easy way i've found at least, sorry cant explain any better

Don't tighten anything until everything is mounted into place again.

O.K, this is what I thought. Otherwise I was gonna install and mount both headers tomorrow, then put the engine guards and floor boards on, and the front panels and then install whatever used mufflers I get from eBay next week. Got it, have all the parts, fit and line up, then crank down. Yes? Also do you put the header tail end gasket on and slide it into the muffler? Or the gasket into the muffler and slide the header manifold end in to the gasket?

worked better or me putting gasket into muffler then slide header in,just be careful when sliding header into muffler

Yeah that right side header was hard to get off. The stud off of the frame is right up against it.

If I remember right one or possibly both sides the crash guard has to be on but loose to mount the header. #-O
