1984 Aspencade still runs OK but lost all accessories including dash, lights, horn, radio. Checked 5 fuses above air cleaner. Do I go after the ignition switch or are there other main fuses? Thanks
Just found the problem..a poor connection at the fuse box above the air cleaner. |

Wow!! Same thing just happened to me on my 84 aspy. I was just getting ready to post my problem when I read this. Your fix makes sense for my problem too. I have recently worked on the bike, so have moved that fuse box around getting at the air cleaner.
I was riding tonight with my wife when it went out. We had stopped for a drink. 30 minutes later, hopped on the bike, she fired right up but no lights, of any kind. Luckily, my driving lights are aftermarket, so I was able to hotwire em. I also carry a headband flashlight that happens to have a red setting. I strapped it to the back and we made it home 25 miles with no brake lights. :YMSIGH: I'll have to buy a second flashlight and have my wife shine it for brake for brake lights

I checked it and had 2 loose wires. I cleaned em up and tightened everything up and have all lights again. THX!!! :d
