21st Birthday Present to myself!
Hell fellow riders,

Quick introduction of myself and a chance to show off my new bike.

Name is Austin Walker, and I'm a college student at UT-Arlington. My family has been riding Wings since I can remember, and while all my friends have always wanted to speed around on the adrenaline pumped "crotch rockets", I preferred the simple and abundant beauty that one is able to enjoy through the long road trips that only Wings can give. So, as an early Bday present to myself, I found a gl1200 to call mine.

Haha, thanks for all the hearty welcomes guys! Dad is for sure jealous of my wing. He has had his fair share of wings over the years! He is on his 7th I believe. I'm loving the 1200 so far! I can't wait to get it out on that open road later this week! Got some big plans as far as making it my own. First on the list...get rid of the names "Bob" and "Carol" on the back. My name is not Bob, and my ex-girlfriends name is Carol. Don't need a reminding of her!

Haha, dad loves his 1500. He's had a 1000, 1100, few 1200s, 2 1500s. He's been riding wings a while. I'm the official youngest member in our local chapter! Next lowest is only 23, but I still beat him!

Welcome! and Happy Birthday Bro! Also from Western PA. Nice scoot. I just got mine this past May and I love it. This site is full of great advice and fantastic folks that love the gl1200, and know what the heck they are talking about. If you have any questions this is the site to find the answer hands down.

Just took Juggernaut (my bike), on her maiden cruise! Well, her maiden cruise to me. Passed my Motorcycle Training Course with above flying colors today, so me and Dad went on a celebratory cruise. Felt so good behind the throttle, even if it was 103F outside!
