adding fork oil?
My right fork seal started leaking a while back and has slowly gotten a little worse. I'm thinking of trying to clean the seal with a piece of 35mm film. The seals were replaced 10k miles ago before I bought the bike. Before I rented a storage unit for it I was riding it up and down my crummy dirt road. I'm going to replace the seals later in the fall but I was hoping to buy some time. I was wondering if there was a fairly easy way to add a little oil once I clean the seal. What I have is an 86 Interstate. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks, JK.

The only way to add oil safely, I would suggest draining completely and add the correct amount according to a manual.
when your doing the seals maybe check the bushings, if worn they may have contributed to the early demise of the seals
The only stupid questions are the one's that are not asked.
