Starter removal
(08-24-2013, 01:51 AM)firstwing85 Wrote: I just did a starter rebuild for a friend, just as Neoracer said remove floorboard then the left engine guard and lower the header, remove the rear stud and then the starter will come out.
it's a tight fit but just be patient and it will come.

I am just curious what you found in your friends starter.
I am sure the listening (lol) public might be curious as well.
How many miles are on the bike? Is the bike used for short trips (ie, a bunch of starter usage)
How were the brushes? amount of carbon dust? condition of the grease in the gears?

Again, just curious Smile
enjoying the view from the saddle....... due mainly to the people and information found within this site
