The noise filter you posted the pic of is WAY different than mine..I'll borrow a digital camera and take a pic of it to let you see the difference..

The filter arrived yesterday but I'm still not sure where and to what it connects. Anyone come up with a possible solution yet?

I had a SEi and it had a Panasonic noise filter on it from the factory. It was under the false tank right up front near the forks. It had two connectors and and was plugged in-line with the voltage regulator/rectifier.
