brightest replacement bulb for headlight 84 aspencade

i want to replace the headlight bulb on my 84 aspencade with the brightest bulb without any mods--can you tell me what bulb to go for

Beware of putting in a higher wattage bulb as reports of melted housings exist. One of the brighter white bulbs gives a better lights, also I have heard of the reflectors being scrubbed clean to give a brighter light too.

Adding driving lights will light up the road at night, and LED driving driving lights make you better seen in the day without any additional drain on the charging system.

Best way to be seen during the day though is with the use of a headlight modulator.

installed the superstar--man what a major difference--can see so much better at night--a heads up-on ebay you can buy a pair of the bulbs shipped for 17.50--got to me in three days-- **==

Has anyone done the HiD conversion on their bike? I have an '84 Interstate. I'm guessing that the ballast would fit in the right side of the fairing under the pocket?
