Headlight bulb replacement
Was thinking about replacing the bulb in my headlight to a brighter bulb, is it a sealed rectangle bulb or just a bulb? I did install some mini driving lights this weekend (changed the bulbs to 35 watt) and they really helped but would still like to update the headlight bulb. Any suggestions?

only thing i'd ever recc is a HID Bi-xenon bulb setup with slim ballast in 5000K only. 3x as much light over any other H4 bulb setup ,easily installed by anyone

Just replaced the headlight bulb in my '87 Interstate a few weeks ago. I bought the Sylvania SilverStar H-4 bulb at AutoZone. Man what a difference at night.

Yep, bought the Silverstar at Wally World last summer. The local one didn't carry it, but the one 20 miles up the road had it in stock.

Prices seemed to vary greatly on that bulb so shop around.

Takes about 45 minutes to an hour to install. Could be done quicker I guess, I like to goof around when I work on the wing. Like laying on the floor to check air in the rear tire, I spend 20 minutes looking at everything I could clean, then I say "oh heck ya can't see it anyhow"..........

Sylvania Silverstar is the bulb I'd go with if you can't swing the HID. Amazing difference.
