Radio replacement

Sorry to reopen and old thread... But will one of these FM modulators cancel out me being able to use my CB and such? I group ride quite a bit, and use the CB function along with an in helmet rig. Will I lose those functions with an FM Modulator?

the fm mod is hooked into the radio side of the antenna inputs,not on the bike antenna side

if you have two antennas a better alternative is to hook antennas separately to each unit,usually this can be done using 12" extensions

But through doing this set up, I won't lose any of my in helmet and CB operations right? Sorry if I misunderstood your reply neoracer.

as long as the fm mod is inline with "only" the antenna section going to the radio you will not lose any regular features,personaly for me the cassette adapter is a better option since opening anything in that left pocket to me is like throwing rocks at a bees nest

I would do the cassette tape option, if I can get it to work. It seems like it only works for around 30 seconds. It had not been used in a long time when I got it last week. I'm gonna keep playing with it to see if I can get it working again. The FM transmitter is just my last resort.

even if you have to send it to sierra for repair to me its a better option
