Gotta love these 85 LTD's My son and I have a matching pair. His has a bit more chrome, mine has lower miles, we love our LTD's , they're our ride of choice and we baby them, but we ride,no slouches here. Looked at a 91 1500 last year in mint shape but you know what I just could'nt see parting with my LTD. its got character and still turns heads 26 years later, not bad,its definitly a classic. My old girls name is :YMPEACE: "GoldRush".

Gotta love a heel/toe shift. Drag specialties was a big supplier of wing accessories at that time. The light bar is drag specs. I am looking for the replacement rubber trim for the light bar.
Any suggestions?

Looks brand new. I would be proud to own that machine.

You might try a marine supply store as some boats use a similar type of rubber trim for docking protection.

Beautiful bike. I have just purchased a 1985 LTD also in really great condition. Can you share with me where the heck you got your chrome color match side covers that actually fit the LTD

I haven't been able to find too many aftermarket parts like the chrome side covers. i have seen some on ebay. just picked up another 85 LTD needs some work. Electrical issues. Where should I post for help?

Are you looking for more chrome, or help in solving the electrical issues? I've found most of my chrome on eBay. Mostly because there's not much made for our Wings and used is the only way to obtain the shiny stuff. As far as electrical issues, this board and it's members can help you through most problems. Start by reading the tech section and ask questions when you have any.
