LED brake lights
I have gotten 15cm red LEDs and stuck them on saddle bag splash skirts and can not get them wired in to work with brakes. the leds need to work with only brakes applied. I have 87aspy and I have triedto wire in wit G/Y and DG wire, nothing! Ant ideas?

dont know exactly how u have them wired or what,leds normally require them to have a dropping resistor to work with 12V singlely,they are also polarity sensitive,if you have hooked them up w/o a resistor they will burnout immediately....normally your can wire 3 or 4 up in series w/o a resistor but they'll still be polarity sensitive.....hope this helps some

according to wiring diagram, Green/Yellow is brake light, and either I can ground to frame or wire in to Dark Green as ground in rear wires. I now think I have a break in wire, lights up when wire is relaxed, but pull wire up to connect under seat, the leds wont work even tied straight to battery. I am going back out to shop and close everything up for awhile, tomorrow supposed to be almost 60 degrees and I want to ride.
