float adjustments?
Are there float adjustments to make as I clean the carbs????

Yes you should check them and set them accordingly.

On my 1200A the level is 7.5 mm as I remember. I have seen others state the 7.0 mm is norm. Personally I don't think it's as important to hit 7.5 or 7.0 as it is that they are all the same.

From the Honda Service Manual

FLOAT LEVEL INSPECTION
With the float valve seated and the float arm just
touching the valve, measure the float valve with the
float level gauge.
Adjust if necessary by bending the float arm carefully.
FLOAT LEVEL: 7.5 mm (0.30 in)

Hi, I don't have the guage for setting the floats and don't know if i could obtain one,so is it possible to set the floats by inverting the carbs level on the bench and measuring the highest point of the float and measuring from this point the distance to the carb face housing ? (the part where the bottom half of the float bowl meets )
