Seafoam.... GREAT STUFF!!. I bought the wife a Kawasaki Vulcan 750 that sat most of it's life including the last year before I bought it. It ran but popped, spit, sputtered and surged. I put in some Seafoam and drove it 150 miles home. By the time I got home it ran like a new bike. Big Grin Had a Suzuki FA-50 moped that sat for 5 years. It wouldn't run unless squirting gas down the carb. I filled the carb with Seafoam, let it sit/soak overnight and in the morning it fired on the first kick and ran great. I've soaked small parts including plastic and o-rings overnight and NEVER had a problem with soft, swollen or "gooshie" rubber or plastic. I wouldn't do that with carb cleaner but the Seafoam ADDITIVE works fine.
