air in front forks
The air guage on my 85 aspencade still shows 2 bars when you decrease the air on the front.i can add air to get more bars but when i hit the decrease button it only goes down to 2 bars any ideas. thanks.

I think 25 year old air pressure gauges can't be depended on to tell you anything with any degree of accuracy.

I know on my '85 I need to run the pressure two bars above the recommended level just to make the bike feel safe to ride.

you will probably have to check the air pressure at the schrader valve on the left fork with a low pressure tire gauge to get an idea as to what pressure you actually have on the front forks

i'm not sure but i would imagine that the same sensor is used to check the pressure in the rear too so that must be off to

i'm sure that someone else will know too
