front forks
I don't think there is much use in bumping this up, there isnt much you can do about raising the front forks, not to say it is impossible given the use of tools, welding equipment etc, etc, etc.

The Goldwing was designed as a 2 wheeled vehicle, when riders decide to ad a third wheel they usually go to a company who have taken into consideration the short comings of their designs and modified them to fit... within reason.

Not sure you will get much response to your problem.
The only stupid questions are the one's that are not asked.

u might try a 1/2 or 1" spacer on top of the progressive springs but boy will you need some help getting the caps back on

even then i dont think you are gonna be able to accomplish what you want to do,it'll probably ride alot harser too and considering your back problems your kinda like in a pickle

good luck on your back problems

Angela, what happens if you pump up the front shocks all the way? Any difference? Also, a larger diameter front tire might help but you will need to modify the front fender for clearance.

Have you tried calling "Forking by Frank"? They make longer fork tubes for many bikes, including old Hondas, but I've never done business with them myself, and I don't know if they handle GL1200s.
