Noise filter

:?: I am trying to find this so called noise filter on my 85 LTD, I just replaced the stator and I am trying to locate it just to check it. Did the LTDs even have one I guess is what I am asking ? I don't see the 8P connector the manual refers to. I have the Honda shop manual the and the supplement manual wiring schematic the whole kit and kabbootle. Everything refers to a noise filter. This thing is suppposed to be an intergral part of the charging system which is why I'm so concerned :d

The noise filter if installed should be a black box that is located to the front of the regulator. The wiring harness plugs into it then the filter plugs into the regulator.

I had one on my Aspy but it didnt do too much for the headset interference.

Thanks Tricky that's the answer I was looking for ! My bike doesn't have one ! Nothing that even resemble one that's good because thats one less thing I have to worry about :d I am going to try a new regulator to see if that will do it
