Item 9 on this instruction sheet says 2 oz.

I would contact Progressive customer service to confirm.

Thanks Wing&Prayer i was hopping to not have to disassemble them as i think a press or something like that is required so i may find some one that can do it for me. Thanks again.

When I rebuilt mine, I bent a hacksaw blade 4" (or whatever) from the top of the fork tube. I attached a tube with zip ties. I made sure the bottom of the tube was flush with the bottom of the metal blade. I have a small syringe (cheap at auto part stores) and suck out any excess. This leaves the exact amount in the tubes.

When using progressives, I use the 20w harely fork oil and air. It is stiff, but really helps on the braking and makes a much better ride (for my style). Remember, the fluid is not as compressible as the air, so most of the ride will be determined from the oil weight and volume used.

Ok i now understand the only way to check the oil is to take them apart. If i do that i may as well rebild them in the process. I will contact Progressive about parts thanks.
