Need to pull front wheel.....?

Need to get a new front tire pronto........found a great deal on a new Elite III (yeah, I know, everybody says that) .... anyway, the shop can't take my Wing in now, no room. I need to pull the front wheel and take it in. Is there anything I need to watch out for? I have my buddys Honda service manual, and will follow it to the letter, but sometimes they miss stuff in the book....?

I assume I can do this on the center stand.....is a floor jack under the motor case (padded, of course) sufficient to hold the rear wheel on the floor to pull the front wheel? I do not have a bike lift......

Follow the manual, it is quite good.

Jack the engine, I usually place some wood under it after jacking it off the ground.
Follow the manual and everything will work out OK, Tie up the two front calipers and do not apply either the front OR back pedal.
