Need a little help with the PTT wiring
I rewired my 84 Aspencade this winter, and even though I took a boat load of photos of the wiring harness, I guess I failed to take a photo of where the push to talk connects.
I matched the new wiring harness with the one that came off the bike, and both had the same connectors in the same location.
So, where does the PTT wire in at?

Thanks so much for your help.

On the left inboard side of the fairing are five or six connectors. They are generally covered by a rubber cover or boot. You'll find the connector there. The PTT cord does not go through the fairing. At least, it isn't suppose to. #-O

Or in this case, 43 words. 8)

On my PTT button, I have a wire coming out of the button, that's in the neighborhood of 18" long.
It has a rectangular, white, 2 prong connector on the end. I can not find what that plugs into.
It's not long enough to reach all the way to the faring.
Have I misplaced a wiring harness that has the mating 2 prong connector on one end and the 5
pin on the other end, or am I overlooking the obvious?
Thanks so much for your help.

Connect the PTT coupler to the brown connector

If you have the correct PTT switch there is a 4 wire connector.

I didn't even think about it until your reply here tricky, but I'm talking about the passengers button.
Mine has one in the back for my wife to use.
Sorry that I didn't think there are two different PTT buttons.

Connect the passenger PTT to a 2 pin brown coupler under the passenger seat.

It might be inside the large rubber cover that all the connectors are in on the left side.

I had a fleeting thought that it might be the passenger PTT but as you hadnt mentioned it, I promptly dismissed the idea.

Thank you so much!
That was it. What caught me off guard with that was the connectors being different colors.
I've noticed that all the mating connectors are the same color.
Thanks again for your help.
