Both myself and another member are presently having a complete set (Brake 4 piece and replacement single clutch line) manufactured by a Canadian supplier at a reasonable price.
After I have received them and they are up to spec and I am happy with the product and the final price I shall post the price and the makers name and contact information for those interested.

I wound up going to a commercial hydraulic hose company to have mine made up. I checked at napa and a few other places but the cost was ridiculous. Just so happened that we had a guy that came to our job that made up hoses from a box truck. he gave me a decent price for the whole lot so he got the job. be sure you get the right fittings for the ends as they are a specific fitting for that application. I removed all the rigid lines on mine and ran full length hoses for replacements also. It was just easier that way rather than trying to make up the braided hoses to the rigid inside of all that frame work. I had a hard time getting my hands in to it so I just went with a solid hose all the way.

I removed the fairing and a lot of little parts to remove the lines.
The supplier can then provide the correct connections as he has the originals to go by.
The only line that is different is the clutch line. The lower section of the OEM line is factory fit to the steel line so would be a little more complicated to fit for the average back yard mechanic.

Good luck with this project Tricky and I hope it works out. I used to have an excellent stainless steel brake hose supplier out in California, superb quality, fit and dirt cheap price, but lost this supplier in an exclusive rights deal. I was caught sleeping and should have acquired the rights to sell these hoses myself. Oh well, can't win 'em all.

Vic,Does this mean the lines you were getting from Venco are no longer available?

Venco is the one that acquired exclusive rights to these brake hoses so yes they are still available from Venco and I suggest that you buy from there to ensure perfect fit and hassle free garantee.

I have had one set delivered 5 lines, 4 brake and 1 single clutch line.

These lines are D.O.T lines.

I temporarily fitted the clutch line to make sure the Orientation of the banjo's was OK, out of the 5 lines this one is the only line to have a banjo on both ends.

I am pleased with the service and developed a pleasant rapport with the guy. He sent both sets of lines before he sent the invoice, not very often that will happen.

I did send my old lines to him including the full clutch line so that he had a pattern to go by and he is returning them with the second set. We wanted to make sure the clutch line was OK before he made the second set.

I shall have one of the lines at the London meet for inspection.

Well done Tricky. :YMAPPLAUSE: Do they have stainless steel banjos and teflon liners? I just custom ordered a set of 4 line stainless steel brake hoses with high UV cover, teflon liner and stainless steel fittings from Paragon Performance in California for a Honda Magna and they cost me $160. shipped. I'm anxious to hear what your finished cost is.

Custom made braided steel brake lines are now available. Any length of line is possible. Stainless fittings are used when available. All lines used are covered with a clear vinyl. Black, red and blue tinted vinyl are also available. All lines are DOT approved. Each manufactured line is pressure tested to 3000 PSI.

Do you happen to know if they have a teflon inner liner?

" Hi Rick,
The line I use does have a Teflon liner. Did you get a chance to try the new grommets. I'm just curious if they fit.
Cheers
