Level tube or siphon tube

Just about time to tuck in the bike for the winter.. Last minute problems..

The rubber at the top of the 'level tube' in the top of my reserve coolant tank has degraded and torn. Apparently this part has been discontinued. Does anyone know if this part is interchangeable with 1100 level tube, or any other type to try?

Considering consulting my MacGuyver DVDs for ideas if I can't find the perfect part.

This is the tube which goes straight down into the coolant tank from the top, and siphons coolant. It is not the overflow tube.
