650 Nighthawk
Hi folks,
Overdrive here, and I1ve got a question about an old bike I`m raising from the dead. A 1982 650 nighthawk. the bike sat for quite a while(about two years or so) I knew the carbs would need attention, so I pulled them and reworked all four. The weren`t all that bad. I inspected, checked, and cleaned all the jets, checked all the rubber gaskets and all. I then put it back together and it started right up.But the idle is very difficult to set, and after it runs for a few mnutes, it won`t start. Wait about an hour, and it starts right up. OH.... the new air filter is not in yet, and neither is the new exaust. Can you help?.....Please

Thanks for your help

Check the valve adjustment. If they are too tight it may cause the symptoms you describe.
