New members post up a howdy!
Failed registration the first time, now this time it has been confirmed yet even now I still show an older Email address that is no more. Now it is ........@ymail.com instead.

Gotta go now for a Christmas Parade this morning, yesterday lead a ride to Wingstuff and JBJ to present awards for the Toys for Tot's support they gave us, and then on to Long Beach International Motorcycle show.

Nice riding weather here this time of year.

Hello all! I am the new owner of a honda 1985 ltd with 11k in as clean a condition as I could believe. I also ride a cb1000c that has similar underpinnings. I'm soon to retire rr engineer almost 60 yrs old. Have moonlighted as a car mechanic for 40 yrs. This ltd injection reminds me of the 1968 vw type 3 system. I usually just lurk on these boards. Glad I found you guys Thanks joe park

Good to have you here Joe and yes the GL1200 injection system is definately old school but it still works great if kept in proper operating order.

Hi, to all!
I recently joined this forum after reading up on fuel pump problems on my '86 SEi. I am so thankful for the internet, and sites like this.
I have had some problems with my SEi shutting down in the hot weather, so I replaced the fuel pump because I thought that was the culprit. Unfortunately that wasn't the problem. Now, after reading a bit more, I am pretty sure it's a vapor lock due to the close proximity of the pump and exhaust. It just gets too hot! So I am now dealing with that. IF ANYONE KNOWS HOW TO SOLVE THIS VAPOR LOCK PROBLEM, I would certainly appreciate their experience with same! Good luck, and have fun!!
Thanks, Kim

Howdy from Port Alberni (Vancouver Island) BC. recently bought an '84 LTD SEi, first saw it about 12yrs ago, and finally it came up for sale. Previously owned an '82 qnd '85 wing, and most recently '99 Kawi Concours.
Looking forward to hanging out here.
Cheers Bob.

Hi All from Northern Ireland

I joined up a few years ago with the intent of striping down my '86 Aspen. It never happened, but over the last few weeks I've at last made a start. Here are a few pics so far. looking forward to getting loads of tips and advice along the way and hopefully I'll remember where everything came off.

So all though I'm not technically a new member I do feel like a newbie having not been on much
Cheers for now

Keith
