Service Bulletin #11 for Ltd Ed Travel Computer

I've had some request's for this service bulletin, so here it is!

Before ordering the kit, make sure the modification hasn't been done allready by checking the rear of the bottom cover for an X scribed there as described on page 4 of this bulletin.

Remember!! This unit is 24 year's old so be carefull while disassembling, soldering, and reassembling everything so be patient and take your time!! Also, if you're not that good at soldering you might want to find a TV repair shop to solder the capacitor in for you.

And if ya can't find a shop,,,,,,, let me know and we'll see what we can work out!! 8)

Exactly what my radio does ! I wondered why,.I thought it might be the switch. I was already to buy another switch when I saw this post . AHHHHHHHH I love this site ! Thanks a million

I read about this service bulliten when I was reading the service maual back in '05 while I was getting my bike back to being road worthy. I finaly got lucky with a helpfull service manager who fixed me up with it!!

It REALLY made a difference with mine!! 8)

Do you think the kit is still available ?

It was available less than a month ago as there was a member that ordered one for his Ltd Ed. Remember,, This modification is for the '85 Limited Edition ONLY!! The '86 SEi allready has the mod. done to it and no other models have the Travel Computer..

Yea I realize that I have a 85 LTD, I am going to call the dealer in the morning . And maybe check some on dealers . thanks
