Cruising Bog
I've been reading a lot and can't find what I'm looking for so some advise would be awesome. I've got an 84 Interstate and at 65-70 mph if i let off the throttle and go to roll back on it I get a hesitation/stall for a second and then it takes off. I rebuilt carbs and synced them last summer. I've run Seafoam through them this year twice and am getting bad gas mileage, @ 30 mpg. Any advise? Thanks!

Well a can of Seafoam and tank of gas helped. I clicked off @35 mpg today but still have a dead spot around 3000-3500 rpm.

Sounds like there still remains issues with the carbs... Check out Randal Washington's sight for a bunch of good info on doing the rebuild...
Also, the quality of the rebuild parts is super important... If you used the K&L kits, then you likely will have issues as the parts are not the correct size and made with cheap materials too... The kits that you need do not come cheap, but they are as good as OEM... Randal has the kits as well...
