thanks for the info. I PUT ABOUT 45K A YEAR ON THE BIKES THE HEAT I CAN LIVE WITH.THE GEAR NOISE IS NOT THAT BAD BUT AFTER 8 H0URS ON THE ROAD IT WOULD BE NICE IF IT WAS QUIETER.

Try custom fit ear plugs, they sure make a difference

i dont know the radio makes it for a pleasurable ride.

I use ear plugs and can still hear the radio and CB but it definitely makes for a quieter ride, it reduces a lot of the background noise:
