Neutral light

My 84 Standard would not start in gear.
I replaced the micro switch at the clutch lever. Now it will start, but the neutral light comes every time you pull in the lever. Any ideas??? Poorboy |

The silicone rectifier is shorted allowing the neutral light to find ground through the clutch switch.
![]() I'm not sure if this is the correct location for a standard though, Don |

That's just what it was. It is in about the same place on the Standard as in the diagram. Thanks a bunch.
