Rev's????
I've just done my carb's, full clean out and service, now down to business, My wing is triked and I need to know what the rev's are at 60mph on a standard interstate gl1200, this will allow me to to work out if the gearing from prop to diff are correct.

Cheers, Pablo.

Hey Pablo. I am glad that I found this post; it gave me an excuse to go for a ride.  Like most GL1200 my speedometer reads a bit fast so I used my GPS.
60 mph in 4th gear was at 4,000 rpms and in 5th gear was at 3,200 rpms.

Thanks Bluewing, My rev's are 3300 @ 60 mph so not that far away from the original gear ratio.
Thanks for the info,

Pablo.

No problem Pablo. You are not that far away. I think your ratio will just give you a bit more speed off the line and mid range.
