Electrical static

Sometimes when I use only my rear brake, the radio has a lot of static through it. As soon as I hit the front brake, it goes away. Could it be a problem with the rear brake switch? This problem only occurs after washing the bike or riding on wet roads.

I would try spraying the switches with a moisture repellent but I would also check the ground connections and the actual bulb to chassis connections.
