<DIV>You should have no problem finding forks on ebay. I just bought complete front ends. I won one for literally $5 and the other for $20. Triple Trees, tubes, sliders, fender, wheel, speedo, cable calipers and all!! ) I am going to rebuild them with new seals which are inexpensive and a set of progressive springs I have. You should be able to find something quite easily. Just search ebay for 78 or 79 gl1000 forks or front end. Make sure you check the box that says to "search title and description". <DIV>I have a 75 and had bought a set of forks on Ebay.  They sent me 78-79 forks.  The lowers are different for the brake mounting and the length of the tubes are different.  Make sure you measure yours and send an Email question to the seller before you bid.</DIV> <DIV>Good Luck</DIV> <DIV>John</DIV>
