Slow Air Cut Off Valve
Since removing my engine, replacing my oil pump, broken pump shaft and cratered sump pump I have got the engine back in and everything's back together and I've got one problem. It's starting great but takes a long time with the choke on, and after getting around 4 - 5 bars on the temp gauge I can leave the choke off, and I do get some slight backfiring on deceleration. There are a couple of other indicators that from what I've read here and on a carb gurus site makes me believe its running lean now. My plans are to check over my ignition system then more than likely pull the carbs and check the slow air cut off valve. This is where my particular questions at. I read somewhere where the diaphragm can be bad and should be replaced but I have looked through several parts fiches and so far haven't found a diaphragm listed. Anyone have an idea where it's at ot what it is or if it can even be purchased?

Cheers!

More than likely I'll change it out anyway when I can locate the overhaul kit. I didn't find one as a stand alone product at Randakks just what was included in the whole master rebuild kit. More than likely I'll go ahead and get the whole kit and over haul all the carbs.
Again, many thanks.

Cheers

Went ahead and ordered the overhaul kit from Randakks. It really couldn't hurt to go ahead and rebuild all the carbs and be done with it.

Cheers!
