No dash lights ??
Last night when I was coming home from the drags http://www.nhra.com/content/race_results...vsource=24 I had no dash lights, I have just upgraded to LED tech GL1200 kit. How many bulbs in the dash?? I may have a bad fuse? loos connection ??? I know it's a big deal to get @ the bulbs.
Thnx !!

I checked my troubleshooting manual,(for an '85,,Sorry!), it shows fuse#7 as the one for the dash ilumination lights. The left and right turn indicators are also on this fuse so if they work the fuse is good. The schematic shows at least 4 lights, 2 for the speedo and 2 for the tach. Again,,, this is for the '85 Interstate but it should be the same for the '87.

Hope this helps!

Remember, the info I gave you is for an '85!! That said,, the #7 fuse is for the turn INDICATOR dash lights. NOT the turn signal lights themselves!!

Check the fuses. It's either that or possibly a connector I think. I can't see 4 lights going at once unless there was a voltage surge of some kind!

OK the turn indicator lights work. The only thing I have done was to install LEDs . Guess I will have to check the fuse than bulbs.

Found it !! :? the #4 fuse was broken. Now what broke it ?? like I said I have just put in LEDs and had all the bags off to rebuild the rear shocks..... so maybe I have a short back there somewhere. The #4 fuse runs ethe dash lights and running lights!! so I was out in IH10 w/ no running lights  got the new fuse in and will see how she holds up.
