No power on 84 Goldwing Interstate
OK guys Im new here and to Goldwings, I bought a nice 84 Interstate about a month ago great bike, rides better that anything I've ever had. Now for the problem I put my key in it this morning and no power no lights nothing, the radio and clock works fine I replaced the dogbone fuse with an inline fuse, checked there for power with the switch on I had power so the switch is sending power, so what else could I look for. Thanks for any help. James

The first thing to do, believe it or not is to have the battery load tested and if it is OK then charge it up overnight only then can you start to figure out the problems.

been there done that.

The battery could have enough juice in it to run the radio for a while.

When you have done that get back to us.
The only stupid questions are the one's that are not asked.

make sure you have water in the battery and the terminals are tight

This problem was solved by replacing a fuse that was replaced with a bad fuse.....
