Flasher/relay

The honda flashers are electronic but u will find that they cost dearly. Had to replacedone when mine burned out and so made the switch to auto style flashers at that time. To do so you also have to replace the connector to an auto type also. But if u can handle a solder iron and shrink wrap its not that hard. Last time i checked the Honda flashers were $50 plus if u can obtain one. Total cost for the auto flashers should be in $30 range for both. Then no mattter where u are any garage or Walmart etc can get u on ur way quickly. If u are replacing the flasher because u r using led bulbs a regular electronic flasher will still flash at a quick rate.
Only one i've found works correctly. and they were $14.95 each 3 years ago. The connector u need is a NAPA Echlin # LS6235 . Old style 3 prong headlight connnector. Have the wiring schemaic for an Aspy and a wire to Honda wire color sheet on hand and can email it to u if u want. By the way the flashers are under the seat area to rear of gas tank on either side shoved down into the "mess" can send u a pics tomm if u want. Stop by can fix ya up in less than an hour. LOL Hope this helps.

After all the purpose of the forum is the sharing of info.

Using Echlin # LS6235 connector to repalce Honda Connnector or Any standard 3-wire headlight connector
Using Standard flasher with LED's will make Lights flash at fast rate, standard electronic flasher will also flash fast but not as fast special LED flasher will return flash rate to normal Terminals are marked as follows Ground Lo Beam Hi Beam Honda da wires colors on Turn Flasher Grn/White Gray Blue/Blk Honda wire colors on Hazard Flasher Grn/Blk Pink/Wht Green if tailight warning light comes on just disconnect the input wire that feeds the signal from the tailight sensor from the circuit used to be on a post several years ago on the GWRRA site on which color wire and where

I would replace both since if the Honda one goes on the road u aren't going to get one for 5 to seven days if u can find one then plus $50+ USD,....also it will take 2 to 4 other fuses when it goes and all you'll have is your headlight left...replacing them now with auto style means that
any 7-11,walmart,target,or junk yard (neighbors unused car works too    ) ..any 3 prong auto flasher works in a pinch 552 is the standard # think EL52N is the electronic # also save the time and heartache....buy the good "tower' bulbs which cost $12 TO 16 @......whether 1156 or 1157 the cheap ones arn't worth the time or money and provide poor lighting and if u have to put resistors in circuit too there is something wrong with the setup

One puts the false tank on and goes riding, just keep the dust off the outside

normally the turn signal flasher and hazard appear the same unless one has been replaced,if the first one is the flasher u can actovate the hazards and it should make a noise(click or vibrate) when it is working, since the bike was converted from a regular wing i would imagine that whoever did the conversion should be able to tell u what is what,and/or provide a wiring diagram
