Changed Coolant before seeing this forum....
The CLYMER manual did not mention a thing about "silicates" it just said formulated for aluminum engines. That is what I bought. However after stumbling onthese things called silicates, I read the back of the jug.... in the ingredients toward the end of the list is that little word "silicates". But the big words say formulated for aluminum engines....


I'm now probably 600 miles since that flush... what have I done?????

Hi Guy,
Overdrive26 here, and I would dare to say that at 600 mi. you haven`t hurt anything. I did the same thing, only I ran it 2200mi with no problem at all. Just change it now and you will be alright.
