Dyna Beads
Does anyone have any first hand experience with Dyna Beads? Are they any good?

I put an ounce in my front E3 when I put it on this weekend. I never pushed it past 75 and I also rode some slower twisty roads to see how it did. No other weights on the wheel anywhere and as far as I can tell it's smooth as glass, just as advertised.

dont know much about Dyna Beads but a imagine they are just like the product i've been using for 15 years "Equal" if its like what i use just make sure u use a filtered valve core or u have an air souce when u go to check pressure, also make sure u use a metal cap when using it bcause they have a seal in them in case of a core leak

I believe the main difference is that Equal is made from polymer beads where DynaBeads are made from ceramic, making the DynaBeads a bit more dense. Both balance the tire using the same principle, are corrosion free, and last the life of the tire or longer.

Equal doesn't provide a motorcycle application chart as they seem to target light trucks, SUVs and commercial rigs. Nothing wrong with that as I think I'd like to start using something on all my other vehicles as well. Innovative, the makers of DynaBeads, mentions the lower profile tires tend to have lateral imbalance that neither product can properly compensate for.

After this weekend, I'd say either product is a great investment.

I installed the dyna beads in my 86 aspencade this past spring and I'm very impressed.I did the install along with new dunlop E-3's,However I installed 2 ounces of beads in each tire as per the dealer recommendations,I also removed the existing wheel weights.I have found the wheels to balance out perfectly and hope to see decreased tire wear and cupping as the k.m. add up,so far so good with 3500 k.m. As a side note my brother added 1 ounce of beads to his venture royal front tire and it did not balance well till he added 1 more ounce, then all was well
