installing driving lights and an accessory socket
hi folks,

my intention, is to install driving lights, and a an accessory socket, controlled by a switch for each, mounted on the left hand handle bar.

I currently have a 30amp relay ( which I would like to use for the lights) and trickys installation diagram (thanks tricky) and the accessory socket can be wired simply to the accessory switch, but I'm just cant find a switch block, with two switches, that mounts to the handlebars.

two questions:
can you point me to a web site that sells these switches, and

Is the 30amp relay ok to use for the lights, and if I dont use a off and on switch, would the draw from the driving lights effect the battery at startup?

many thanks,
Robbie

The relay is sufficient as long as you fuse the circuit per the manufacturers instructions. Honda kills the headlight for start up. I'd follow their engineering design. If you're NOT using an external alternator, put those puppies on a switch. The stock charging system will not handle that large a power draw for too long a period without drawing from the battery. Most online stores have a two or three switch mount for handlebar operated accessories. WIngstuff, etc.
