turn signals handle bar switch

Hi since i last enquired about the indicator spring, i have been putting a Motad stainless exhaust on ,rear tire break, disc and because it is a pain to strip all the lighting fender down i decided to have rear wheel bearings fitted all at the same time so thats my little expensive update ,
I'm now looking into getting the indicator (turnsignal ) problem fixed, the problem lies in the turn signal switch operated by the thumb on the switch cluster on the left hand side of the handle bars , it has become loose and will make contact and switch the turnsignal on , i realise that the unit is only available in one lump but just wondered if anyone knows how to repair it, i'm strugling with the photoes tried photoe bucket got fed up so got my sistert put the avatar on. regards Lenny |

![]() ![]() Here is the handlebar turnsignal switch and the plate which has become loose ,can any body tell me if they know if it can be repaired, it feels as though a spring has come off but i can't find any traces of springs,or if anyone has one to sell ,or could have a look inside a spare one to see whats going on in there.thankyou |

Well you've got me stumped on this one Lenny but if I had to guess I would be looking for a flat spring that the roller would ride on. I doubt if you could get the part separately so it looks like you'll have to buy a complete replacement unit.
