Randakk's 1200 carb kit is now available
http://www.randakks.com/Carb%20Parts.htm#9B

I think many of us have been waiting for Randall to release his kit for long time. Smile ill get mine after xmas and new year eve ;P

Randakk's Master GL1200 Carb Overhaul Kit includes:

O-rings:

* 4 - fuel (idle) mixture screw (2.8 x 1.1 mm)
* 4 - float bowl drain screw (4.2 x 1.3 mm)
* 4 - large carb-to-plenum (air) O-ring (48.8 x 2.6 mm) I suppy a Viton o-ring for this instead of the special seal Honda uses. My o-ring works as well or better than Honda's odd seal
* 4 - intake manifold (35.5 x 2.6 mm)
* 4 - Main Fuel Tube (5.8 x 2.0 mm)
* 4 - Air-Cut Tube (6.9 x 1.3 mm)
* 4 - Vent Tube (6.9 x 1.3 mm)
* 1 - Suction Valve / Reed Box for California Emissions Model (supplied in all kits...35.0 x 2.1 mm)

Gaskets - 4 of each:

* Randakk's exclusive improved float bowl gaskets.
o Slightly thicker cross section for positive sealing
o Made from high tech material to resist problems associated with oxygenated fuels
o A real "formed gasket like OEM...not a simple o-ring like in some kits (those are hellishly difficult to use!)

Miscellaneous Parts:

* 1 Air Cutoff Valve Overhaul Kit
* 1 mm cotter pins for linkage - 12 supplied (simple item, but hard to find elsewhere)
* 8 special screws and lock washers rejoin carbs to the plenums. Rarely needed. These are high quality zinc-plated screws...just in case! (6 x 20 mm)
* High quality aftermarket fuel filter (one of 2 sizes depending on model of carbs)
* 4 idle mixture screw washers
* 16 float bowl screws (4 x 16 mm)

Price: $99.95 each including US domestic shipping and handling.

Thanks for getting this word out before the official announcement Smile

There are two versions of my GL1200 Master Carb Overhaul Kit.

Correct fitment depends on the fuel filter installed on the bike.

Thanks again.

Just to confirm....
Is it $99 for one carb or does the one kit do all four carbs?
The journey chosen will determine the destination.

Why did you need float pins?

Because on Randakk's web site in his technical articles, he indicates that there is a possibility that to get the original pins out, they might get "buggered up" a little. So I just wanted to have some new ones on hand and ready for use.
To each his own. When it comes to these types of things, the cost is never an issue with me, only quality, reliability, and convenience.
So if it ends up I don't need them, no big deal. They just go into my GL1200A spare parts supply.

I guess having them "just in case" won't hurt anything if you don't mind the expense. For others, I'd suggest that in almost all cases, you won't need them.
If they are stuck initially, they almost always come out easily after a little soaking. Our 'failure rate" on thses pins is probably less than 2 %.

And if it turns out that you do need one, just let me know and we'll mail you one or two at no cost.
