Honda Parts
Has anyone dealt with HondaLineDirectParts? http://www.hdlparts.com

They seems to have quite a few of the parts I want/need but before I send the funds, I'd like a reference or three.

This site is OK, one of the major Honda service lines in North America they have a very good online parts catalog with service counter details, however you may want to look at the parts you need, write down the part numbers and then go to http://www.servicehonda.com and enter the part numbers and compare prices. I have found that Service Honda will usually beat the price of Honda Direct a bit and sometimes provide cheaper shipping.

You will notice that when you enter your part numbers for the items you need it will show that the order is placed for that item, it will however not tell you if an item is discountinued, if an item is discontinued you will be notified by email later.

Both are good to deal with.

I agree with Joe. Your best bet is to call them according to HDL.
I too had orderd parts and was all excited that I finally was going to get my parts only to get a letter stating that one of my necessary parts was D/C'd. I called them to complain, they apologized and suggested that I call for future orders

gidday,

I found them a little slow with delivery, and their parts listing, is not up to date, as I ordered several items that turned out to be discontinued.

I have started using bike bandit http://www.bikebandit.com/partsbandit/
thier pricing is abit more expensive, but delivery is better, and listings are up to date.

cheers.

Another thing I like about Bike Bandit is if you are not satisfied at all you can return for a full refund and they have "Live Help" that you can chat with on line. I had one small part I ordered and it had one little bad spot on it and I talked on the live help to one of the guys there and he said that they will get another one right out to me and not to send the small part back because they pay for you also to ship parts back and he told me it was not worth it and to just keep it and they sent me another. Great people to deal with.

According to servicehonda, they do not ship outside of the US..."We DO NOT ship outside the continental US" C/P from http://www.servicehonda.com/policy.htm near the top. Hdlparts will ship to Canada. Just a heads up, might make your decision a little easier.
