Red Turn signal lenses????

Are red turn signal lenses avalible for the gl1200 aspy?
has anyone ever seen these??? Jim |

Not that I have ever heard of.
Actually, it is a pet peeeve of mine that North American auto engineers generally only use red tail lights. The main problem with this is that you have no 4 ways flashers under braking on an all red system. The amber lights are independent of the brake lights and can warn both oncoming and trailing drivers that you are braking for an obstacle (think Bambi). The red sysem under braking leaves the oncoming traffic oblivious. Also the On Off amber is more effective at attention grabbing than the dim/bright of the red system. Having to reach thru the steering wheel to activate them is an unbelievable stroke of dumbness. I never really thought of the practicality of this until I saw the autobahn light up with amber and brakelights. I certainly knew the drivers ahead were not braking for fun. The switchology on euro cars requires a natural reach for the hazard switch.
