Took a little ride today.
Family had a post holiday dinner this afternoon in the city of Omaha, NE. I worked last night (and have to again tonight) so I wasn't sure if I was going to attend. The wife and daughter took the cage in for the day. After about 3 1/2 hours of sleep, I woke up and decided that 35* was warm enough for me to make the 45 mile ride in and get with everyone for a couple of hours.
The bike ran great, of course, and the ride was refreshing and brisk. I really enjoyed my time with my grand daughters, and also shared a birthday cake with my brother. I took my time on the ride home and soaked in the sunshine and open highway. I totaled a hair over 90 miles and about an hour and twenty minutes of ride time. Not bad for an early January day in Iowa.

Here are me and my oldest Grand daughter. She wanted a picture with Pappa on his Mo-sycho.

Nice picture tomkat 8)

I took a short ride yesterday also, only about 50 miles... My cousin lives in bellvue Neb (Ithink thats the name of the town), just west of Omaha. I went through that area every week on my way to Denver. Eastern Neb isn't to bad, central and western Neb is boring as :? when your running on 80 at 0300 Smile

I was about 5 miles from Bellevue. My wife attends Bellevue University. Hmm, small world.

Very nice picture of you, family and your Mo-sycho.

I also had the opportunity to get and ride my Mo-sycho yesterday. It's been a while but man does it ever feel good to get out there and put some miles on. What a feeling, what a rush. This is precisely why I don't store my Wing for the winter. Opportunities like this happen often and I don't like to miss a chance to ride my bike if I get one.
