NPT Fitting on Fork Cap
I recently saw a reply to a posting about forks & fork oil. The person indicated that they had drilled & tapped the cap for an 1/8" NPT fitting to help with future oil changes. (not having to remove the caps) I looked at the hardware store over the weekend for an NPT fitting but didn't see anything that looked like it would work for the application stated. Has anyone else done this? Got any pics to share? Thanks.

Thanks Howard, I didn't see anything that looked like what you used. But now that I have a better mental picture I'll head back to the hardware store. Did you do your own drill & tap? Thanks again.

Yes I drilled and tapped the caps myself.
Incase of an issue which I usually get myself into  I do have a machine shop and very skilled individuals at my diposal. Coffee or a dozen donuts can get anything made.  Howard
