What model???
I think the Interstate and Aspencade were identified as such and the Limited Edition was Goldwing. Would you want "Limited Edition" on your tail light? Smile

Take a photograph of the right side facing you below the pocket, I am interested in what is there when you say there is no room.

Looking at the fourth picture, the fairing looks like it could be off a Limited. although the yellow light or reflector that is there is not stock.

look at 84 interstate and 85 aspencade here.

The grommets and filler plate are off an Interstate where that red switch is, that is where the controls for the compressor go.

Angela,
I don't mean to butt in on Tricky here but, I was looking at your pics and where your red switch is for the corner lights, is where your air control console goes.
Also the Tupperware you have could be form an LTD or a later model SEI (86-87)
The marker light on the faring is just like mine, the original was just a reflector. A lot of guys replaced them with them with the trucker lights like we have. I’m not sure why they go out when you activate the blinker though. Something is wired funny or could be you don’t have a good ground. Pull the light off and make sure it has a separate ground wire.

This is the marker lamp of an 85 Ltd, I bought the lenses after I bought my 85 and moulded bases for them

Notice that there isnt a raised section on the fairing

Unless you constantly change your driving conditions, weight etc I would not really bother, I have it, I have installed progressive front and rear, very seldom change the weight conditions, I cant remember the last time I actually used it.
Do you find yourself changing the air in the forks or suspension?

Yeah, I agree with Tricky, it’s nice to have but, wouldn’t be on my “A” list. Too many other things I could better justify spending my money on. I have seen the parts you would need, go for $100 to $300 on eBay…

You know Tricky, I really never noticed but after re-looking @ that marker lamp( it is on w/ lights but goes out when signals activated) it looks like the body moulding for it is bigger than the lamp. Maybe I should just get the badging for the LTD to have me an "Interstate Limited" I could put the Limited badge just behind the Interstate badge on the saddle boxes.

You can get the real LTD side lamps here, with chrome covers too:

Geez Lou weez!
$45 for one light [Image: shockheadshake.gif] I've seen after market Led's for the 1200's go for that, for the pair.

Oooops!!!! I guess that idea is out. I wish Winglandinggear had not gone out of business. They had a great product that replaced the stock center stand and allowed the rider to come to a stop without having to put feet down but would retract in less than 2 sec.

well... you could alwas try one of these.
