84 Aspencade Carb parts - starter valve actuator

I started cleaning my carbs today. One of the starter valves was sticky causing the choke to very slowly disengage, so I took it apart to clean it. When I was reassembling the actuator, the threads stripped. Anyone know where I can get a replacement? Or will I have to buy a set of carbs off eBay? (Might not be a bad idea anyway...)

Crisis averted. Removing the lock nut to expose good threads and a little bit of blue thread lock and the nut is now secure.

I have ALWAYS been a firm believer in attempting repair instead of just replacing.
I am glad it worked out for you. I make it routine to open the cold start valve and add some lubricant/cleaner to help keep these valves working well. I do the same with the linkage which activates them. -Ride On
