GL1200 Markland Floorboards w/ Heel-Toe shifter
Has anyone here taken one of these OFF their bike? I like the floorboards, but can't stand the heel-toe shifter. Did these come with a shorter shift lever? I'm trying to figure out what all I'll need to convert it back to the original shifter, because its pretty obvious that the shift lever that is installed now doesn't give enough clearance between the shift peg and the engine.

If I can get an original shift lever, will I be able to keep the floorboards? Alternatively, I'd be willing to trade someone straight up my floorboards for a set of stock pegs and shifter.

The shift lever should not have been altered other than turned a little on the splines.

If you examine the lever you will notice that there is a bolt that tightens it to the shaft, remove the bolt, pull the lever off and rotate it to the desired position. While your there check for oil leak around the shaft if there is you can replace the seal.
The only stupid questions are the one's that are not asked.

That's what I was hoping to hear. Now I'll just need to figure out all the parts I need to replace the original pegs.
