Hi, guys!

I've been a member for a few weeks but neglected to put out a mini-background yet. I ride an '86 Blue Aspencade that I bought new after putting about 80K on a sweet CB550F I also bought new way back in '76 (wish I still had it!). After putting about 60-70K on the Aspencade in the late 80s and early 90s, including several 3 Flags Classics from Mexico to Canada, my jobs tended to cut into the travel time and my bike and I kinda went dormant for a while. I still put a few miles on it now and then but haven't been on a tour for quite a while. I'm in the process of refurbishing things a bit, including new tires and other essentials. I have 80K plus now and hope to see it hit 6 figures one of these days.

It's great to read all the posts and get such great feedback from other 1200 riders/owners. Keep it all going!

My first bike was a 1976 CB550 with a Vetter fairing. I wish I still had it but the insurance company bought it many years ago after a collison with a van. ( But officer I didn't see him.)

Sorry about the delayed post but I had to make sure I was gonna be a "WINGER"....was waiting for title of my 86 SEi to show up!!! Got it FREE from my brother-in-law { he "remodeled" it during a drunken spree, wheeeeeee!!!} with a promise that he would get the title for it within a week......suprise! he did! Will be hounding you guys for needed parts here shortly. Till then, thanks for letting me in clubhouse...ta-ta!!!

Hello all fellow goldwing riders.I am located in triad area of north carolina near winston-salem.I see that there are a few people here from north carolina that is neat.Maybe someday we could meet for a ride.I own a 1984 goldwing aspencade.Bike is not on the road right now.Needs a new back tire and carbs need cleaning.Hoping to get on it this winter and get it ready for next spring.Really miss riding and would love to meet some felow riders and take a trip to the blueridge parkway sometime.I may be askin some of you for some tips on getting my ride ready for the road if that is cool.Anyway thanks for having me on here hope to chat with ya'll a lot more.Take care and ride safe,Dennis
