pulse generator move to front

i have a 1984 goldwing which has the pulse generators on the back of the motor

i think there is a way to put the pulse generator on the front of motor
has any one tried this .if yes please post here

I have put a set of pulse generator on the front of my 1984 wing
which i installed using the ones from 1985 wing
for the pick-up disc i bought one also from a 1985 wing and then welded
a raised spot on it and about 1 inch long
the on back still work so now i have two sets and can plug in which ever one i want.
