Trunk Lights
I have an '84gl1200I. For some reason I thought that the reflectors on the trunk also came with lights. I've had this bike for about 3mo.s, and the original lights, to me, don't seem to be enough. I would like to at least have those reflectors in the corners to be replaced by lights. Are there any kits available. Any other suggestions. I know that I will be adding some LEDs.

Have a look around at http://www.chrischrome.com/ They used to carry light conversion kits for the 1200.

I ordered the kit and it arrived yesterday. I just installed it and the lights work and I'm please. All together it took about an hour and a half.

Not exactly, But I do want these too.

What I want is the 3 long reflectors 1 on each saddlebag and 1 in the center of the rear.

Thank you

PS: I can also get you LEDs for these corner lights too if anyone wants them.

OK. in the post started by 2nd wing, he mentioned trunk lights. I think he meant saddlebag lights too. they are available. I'll do some looking and let you know. I'm headed out of town right now & I'll be back Sunday evening.
I'll see what I can do.

I've got one of these in the center rear on my bike. Here's a good source for them as well as other "stuff".

How did you get the studs installed in this light? Did you break it apart or did you just put a screw through the outside?

Minie already had the studs coming through the back of the housing.
