I have fun tinkering too.
I get the biggest high getting something to work that other folks have given up on..... One of my best known accomplishments was when one of my second oldest daughter came to me two days before the school project was due...... she had to bring in a tool which was all made from natural materials.... I don't know what other children brought in I took a bamboo pole which was sliced at the top and woven to hole a Tikki Torch. I re-wove and re-shaped the Tikki Torch pocket so as to resemble a baseball glove, with a little pocket. I told my daughter is was for picking fruit from a tree. Some 12 or so years later when my youngest child had the same teacher, she was still using it as an example of what she was looking for from each student. We are a special breed, aren't we? Post some more pics. -Ride On
enjoying the view from the saddle....... due mainly to the people and information found within this site

Nice job Ben and the dog seems quite pleased with it also. Just one question; why the strap from front axle to lower frame?

Nice job - did you have any trouble insuring it?

It pulls to the right a little, So I added the strap for power steering,
Don't LOL it works. Oh I sent you an e-mail about a story I wrote a few years ago and wanted to post it in Wing tales, it has a few bad words in it, I wanted to make sure it was ok before I posted it, if not I understand, Thank You. And no trouble insuring it? and I have Antique plates on it for life. and they only cost me $ 9 Bucks, Good Old Arkansas. |

Looks great, what did you use for a drive shaft? I'm in the process of triking a 1985 GL1200A with a 1984 Jaguar IRS. In Michigan I have to retitle when I'm done. Getting close to starting the body.
